A Few Characteristics of  Yahood Mentioned in Qur’an

[They are] avid listeners to falsehood, devourers of [what is] unlawful (5:42)

And among the People of the Scripture is he who, if you entrust him with a great amount [of wealth], he will return it to you. And among them is he who, if you entrust him with a [single] silver coin, he will not return it to you unless you are constantly standing over him [demanding it]. That is because they say, “There is no blame upon us concerning the unlearned.” And they speak untruth about Allaah while they know it

And [for] their taking of usury while they had been forbidden from it, and their consuming of the people’s wealth unjustly (4:161)

And they were covered with humiliation and poverty and returned with anger from Allaah [upon them]. That was because they [repeatedly] disbelieved in the signs of Allaah and killed the prophets without right. That was because they disobeyed and were [habitually] transgressing (2:61)

You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allaah (5:82)

The Jews say, “Ezra is the son of Allaah” (9:30)

Allaah has certainly heard the statement of those [Jews] who said, “Indeed, Allaah is poor, while we are rich.” We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right (2:181)

And the Jews say, “The hand of Allaah is chained.” Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say (5:64)

Cursed were those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel by the tongue of David and of Jesus, the son of Mary. That was because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed (5:78)

They used not to prevent one another from wrongdoing that they did. How wretched was that which they were doing (5:79)

They said [instead], “We hear and disobey.” And their hearts absorbed [the worship of] the calf because of their disbelief (2:93)
