As we all know in day today’s life Fitan (trials) are increasing rapidly and is destroying the lives of many Muslims. Nowadays people don’t have to go towards Fitan but is already in their pocket. Yes I am talking about the mobile phones. As a Muslim we have to face a lot of Fitan in our life and ofcourse are 24hrs available with us in the form of mobile phones which is the hub of Fitan which connects all Fitan towards an individual.
Here I am not going to discuss about the uses of mobile phone or the bad consequences but I have to discuss most burning issue which is rapidly spreading nowadays among the Youth. Yes the Emotional blackmailing among the youth.
In order to understand this topic first we need to understand what is Emotional blackmail and who are the Khawarij.
Firstly we will discuss about Emotional Blackmail. It’s a technic or we can say a way to control the behavior, way of seeing things, way to understand things of an individual by controlling his feelings. Using a person’s feelings of kindness, Sympathy in order to convince him to feel or to do something.
Secondly we will briefly discuss about the Khawarij so that reader will get a simple idea about the Khawarij so that it will be easy for a reader to understand this topic.
Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said:
“ Khawarij are the dogs of Hell.”
Source: Sunan Ibn , Hadith No. 173
Abu Ghalib narrated that Abu Umamah said:
“(The Khawarij) are the worst of the slain who are killed under heaven, and the best of the slain are those who were killed by them. Those (Khawarij) are the dogs of Hell. Those people were Muslims but they became disbelievers.” I said: “O Abu Umamah, is that your opinion?” He said: “Rather I heard it from the Messenger of Allah.”

In today’s age people are connected with each other through social media and there is globalization of ideologies. Every one is trying to promote his ideology and among them the most harful and poisoned ideology which can really harm a Salafi youth is the ideology of Khawarij. So I am going to discuss about the tricks and deceptions of Khawarij, how they are emotionally blackmailing you because this ideology attracts mostly the Salafi youth who call themselves Salafi and having very good intention to do something for Islam.
As we all know Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said Khawarij are dog’s of hell fire we have firm belief on this. HE صلى الله عليه و سلم also warn us about them and told us their characteristics which you can learn from scholars in shaa Allah.
These Khawarij firstly try to make you emotionally weak by showing videos & Pictures etc containing the bad condition, wounded pics, sufferings of Muslims particularly videos and pics of our Muslim mother’s, sisters & kids (May Allah protect them all). They will show this kind of content so that your heart will fill with full of hatred for Kuffars and increase love for those suffered Muslims who are really living in a tragic and bad circumstance. (1)
Secondly, they will make you emotional by Taranas and by showing you their way of living, mostly their lectures are titled with motivational Reminder, heart melting, heart touching & powerful reminder. Yes ofcourse their appearance will be also the Islamic appearance and you will find them majorly quoting past great grand scholars like ibn Taymiyyah, ibn Qayyim & Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab etc etc but you will not see them anywhere quoting any of the present senior scholars in their speeches. (2)
But remember my brothers and sisters any of the action is not valid until and unless is not as per the Sunnah of prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم. All that glitters is not gold.
In order to understand what is going on in this Ummah we need to ponder on some Ahadith of our Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم.
The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said:
“Verily there would arise from my Ummah after me or soon after me a group (of people) who would recite the Qur’an, but it would not go beyond their throats, and they would pass clean through their religion just as the arrow passes through the prey, and they would never come back to it. They would be the worst among the creation and the creatures.”
Source: Sahih Muslim, Hadith No. 1067
Here Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم mentioned they will read the Quran but at the same time He صلى الله عليه و سلم mentioned they are the worst of people. We need to ponder on this we need to understand it’s not mandatory the one who recites Quran is the pious person that means an individual can be a worst creature even if he reads the Quran.
Further more, Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said:
“There will appear within my nation differences and division – people who will perfect their speech and make evil their actions….”

Dear brothers and sisters this is what we need to ponder on again. He صلى الله عليه و سلم said their speech will be perfect. As we all know khawarij always quotes great grand past scholars of Islam like Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Qayyim etc but when we check their actions they are destroying whole nation, destroying the peace of Muslim countries. The prophet has already warned us their speech will be perfect do not get deceived by their speeches or by their Tilawat Al-Qur’an. They are just reading Quran by their tongue. Their speeches are just a weapon to attract the youth towards them.
Further, The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said:
“There will emerge among you people whom you would belittle your prayer when compared to their prayer, your fasting compared to their fasting, and your deeds compared to theirs…”

It’s again very important hadith in order to understand this ideology. HE صلى الله عليه و سلم said you will belittle your prayer, fasting etc when compared to them. This clears all the doubts if you are a sincere reader they aren’t just reading praying fasting like hypocrites. Hypocrites pray sometimes, mostly they miss Fajr prayer and they pray just to please Muslims so that they will be identified as Muslim in a Muslim society and continue harm Muslims in a snaky way but the Khawarij they are not just praying but praying in such a way even Sahaba (Prophet addressed Sahaba in hadith) would belittle their prayer when compared to their prayer. When we ponder on this Hadith it really gives us a weapon, a tool to understand the characteristics of Khawarij. Again all that glitters is not gold. Here we need to understand it’s not mandatory the one who having Islamic physical appearance and who is praying day and night and doing other good deeds it’s not a certificate for him for being a true believer.
We almost daily see the video’s & Pictures etc of these people on social sites. Nowadays it’s very easy to get influenced by their ideology because people are connected with each other.
So my dear brothers and sisters in order to check good and bad you need to understand, whatever you see or whatever you listen, before you will be black mailed by such kind of content you need to first confirm the Manhaj of the speaker you need to understand the ideology of the speaker you can’t judge him by his physical appearance but through his ideology. Before you will fall in the trap of emotions you need to first understand prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم has already warned us their will be some people their appearance & speeches will seem much more better than Sahaba but by their actions they are dogs of hell fire.
They are blackmailing youth by showing the wounds of innocent Muslims. They are Blackmailing youth by showing the sufferings of Muslims. They will boost up the hatred against Kuffar in the Youth but resulted helping the Kuffars only because they aren’t on true Manhaj they aren’t following the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم. They are just following their desires and mind. Maybe their intentions are good but good intention can’t make wrong action good. Before you watch share and follow them remember they are dog’s of hellfire. They are full of emotions and their Manhaj actually Is based on Emotions.
Mostly the youth fall in their traps because youth mostly follows their emotions. If you don’t have enough knowledge about Manhaj then surely sooner or later you will be found in their group ideologically or physically. That is why you will see many youth who even don’t pray obligatory Salat, not following full filling obligatory Ibadat, you will found them listening music, plain shaved face but talking about the matters of Ummah the crucial, Political and global level issues on social sites. If you advice them, tell them read Islam, read Aqeedah & Manhaj they will laugh at you they will reply you Muslims are dying and you people are still talking about Aqeedah and Tawheed. You will mostly find them talking about the great warriors, fighters of Muslim Ummah. You will find them mostly reading about the history of Islam. They don’t value Aqeedah & Tawheed. Their main focus is on to change the situation of this Ummah. They believe only we are good Muslims and the likes of them who agree with their ideologies. If someone criticize them or advice them they will label them as Madkhali, Agents etc.
Innocent people will think how great are these Khawarij, doing Ibadat always caring about this Ummah but in reality they are the enemies of this Ummah. In reality they are destroying this Ummah because they don’t follow the Manhaj of Sahaba and Sunnah of Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم. You need to understand if the action is not as per the teachings of Sahabah then undoubtedly this action is not valid even if you will think it’s good.
At last, I want to say that we need to at least learn Aqeedah and Tawheed so that we can differentiate the other ideologies because in today’s world everyone is connected with each other that means different ideologies are also connected. In order to safeguard yourself from different ideologies we need to understand the ideology of Prophet and Sahaba first and foremost so that other ideologies will not dominate our minds and emotions.

1) Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan said: It is not permissible to establish pictures for the injured. However, the Muslims should be called to give charity to their brothers, and they should be informed that their brothers are in bad circumstances, and that bad things are happening to them from the doings of the Jews, without them being shown pictures and pictures of the wounded people. This is because this contains the matter of utilizing picture making, and it also contains undertaking a burden that Allaah, the Most High, did not command. It also contains weakening the strength of the Muslims, because when you present before the people pictures of Muslims that have been mutilated, or with their body parts cut off, then this is what frightens the Muslims and makes the Muslims afraid of the deeds of the enemies. And what is obligatory is that the Muslims do not show weakness, and that they do not show the calamities, and they do not show these matters. Rather, they should conceal those matters so that they do not weaken the strength of the Muslims.
2) Scholars like Imam Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Qayyim and Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab are free from their ideology. They are our imams may Allah bless them all. They have already exposed the evil manahij of these sects and likes of them.

I ask Allah safeguard this Ummah from the Fitan of Khawarij (Aameen)
Errors are expected, whatever there is present which doesn’t agree with Quran and Sunnah should be thrown away with acceptance of Quran and Sunnah. Whatever good you get from this is from Allah and whatever bad you get from this is from author and Satan.
